Introduction

RQ has partnered with Yoshki to power our online logo authentication.

By using Yoshki’s Digital Logo technology, we can control who displays the RQ logo online; enabling us to prevent illegal usage while protecting the business interests of genuine RQ Certified firms.

Visitors to your firm’s website will be able to validate that you are a genuine RQ Certified firm; offering prospective new clients and professional referrers additional peace of mind that they are looking at the website of a firm they can trust.

Website Verification

Yoshki’s website validation technology is a simple but important feature for RQ.

Anyone browsing your website will be able to click the RQ Digital Logo and receive instant confirmation of your firm’s Certification status.

When a visitor clicks on the RQ Digital Logo, they will be directed to a page on the RQ website and presented with the message below confirming you are Certified. Once this is complete, your visitor will be returned to your website.

Adding the RQ Digital Logo to your website

Adding the RQ Digital Logo to your website is a quick and easy process.

Simply copy the HTML snippet below and provide this to whomever administers your website. They can then paste this directly into whatever software is used to manage your site.

The Digital Logo is available in two sizes. You are free to use whichever size suits your needs the best.

Q – The link is not working/the Digital Logo does not display on my website

The Digital Logo will only work on websites which are already Certified by RQ.

Also please make sure that you’re not adding the HTML to development or testing sites; the RQ Digital Logo will only work on the specific website address provided to RQ.

Q – How can I display the Digital Logo on more than one website I operate?

If you operate more than one website, you must provide RQ with details of all the domain names via email.

Q – How can I use the Digital Logo on other channels – for example, emails?

The Digital Logo can only be used on your website, where the verification technology will make sure it will only work for authorised members. You are not allowed to reproduce it elsewhere.

Q – My website is responsive; will the RQ Ratings Digital Logo work ok?

Yes, the RQ digital logo is fully responsive and optimised for mobile websites.

Q – How are you tracking usage and what data are you recording?

Yoshki uses Google Analytics to power its reporting functionality.

Through this reporting functionality, Yoshki and RQ have access to the following data:

  • which websites have implemented RQ Digital Logo code. This is to help prevent inappropriate use of the Digital Logo and to see which websites have adopted the service
  • how many times the RQ Digital Logo has been clicked – this is to help manage system performance and to gain insight into usage.

Yoshki does not access, record or store any personal data such as IP addresses, page navigation behaviour, etc.
Of the information we do access – set out above – it is only ever shared between RQ and Yoshki, to facilitate the Digital Logo service.
